A satisfying day of mulching. Oxymoron? Perhaps. But things are looking good out there. Just in time for the polar vortex to wipe it all out! Nooooo!

The delicious homemade brownies that Jen gave me yesterday inspired to Lily to make…homemade brownies! Good heavens, you’re going to need to roll me out of quarantine!

Also, I have a new tactic to convince your kid to help make supper. Since I was outside mulching I asked Ellen to prepare the potatoes for supper. Part way through the cutting up of the potatoes she wondered if she needed to cut more because her arm was tired. I offered her the job of mulching if she preferred. That exchange took place a few times until supper was complete!
