Best suited for age one and up, Linen & Whimsy Bibs feature a two-tone design of vintage or whimsical fabric paired with the classic styling of coordinating linen.

A truly unique design, Colorblock Bibs fit best on babies age one and up. Set off by a field of classy linen, the contrasting color block will feature either whimsical prints, solid contrasting linen, or genuine vintage textile pieces.
Customers frequently ask…
“Aren’t they too pretty to use?” We agree they are pretty, but they are baby bibs and will need to be washed. All fabrics (exclusive of trims) are machine washed and dried before assembled into bibs. Most components are linen, cotton, and polyester and withstand frequent washings. That said, precautions may be taken to extend the life of the bib. Machine wash cold. Line dry. Iron only on the FRONT of the bib, avoiding any trim. To prevent stains, these bibs are not recommended to be used during feeding.
“What is on the back of the bib?” Almost all of Naptime Inspirations’ bib have a backing made from minky, a supersoft, non-pilling, polyester fabric.
“Do you accept custom orders?” Absolutely! We are thrilled by custom orders! If you have a piece of fabric or textile that is special to you, we’ll work with you to incorporate it into a one-of-a-kind design. Details on custom orders can be found here.
Inspiration
When I had my third daughter a friend of mine gave me a sweet handmade bib with a beautiful floral print on the front and upcycled cotton chenille on the back. My daughter drooled a lot and always wore bibs. I was overjoyed to have a bib that was so pretty and paired so nicely with her dressier outfits. It was also a revelation to me that baby bibs could feature prints and patterns other than what we typically think of as “nursery” prints. Since my tastes lean more towards vintage, many of Naptime Inspirations’ designs incorporate vintage fabrics and textiles. Always with functionality in mind!

Customization
Naptime Inspirations can use YOUR sentimental textiles in any of the customizable designs! The first step in the process is to reach out with your idea here. When you are contacted, we will discuss what you’re looking for and come up with a plan. There is a consultation fee for this process and that fee applies for up to 5 items. Each item is purchased separately. When necessary, your item will be cleaned and prepared so that it looks its best in the finished product.
Quilt pieces, embroidered linens, vintage fabrics, a piece of a shirt or apron, even baby bedding can be incorporated into baby bibs, pillow, or zipper pouches.
