Social Distancing Diaries: Day 51

Dear Diary

I talk about the weather a lot, but if every day could be as gorgeous as today…

A Good Day

A Good Day

We gathered for Living Room Church this morning. Apparently 3 kids on the couch is too much because we had to pause the service to address the Heart Issues which were being demonstrated. Lest you get the impression that things are all roses here.

This afternoon the girls and I drove over to Marietta to pick up some homemade doughnuts from the marvelous Aunt Kasey of Moonlight Bakery Co. fame (also of extraordinary English teacher fame, but you can’t eat books now can you?). Apparently the Heart Issues expressed during Living Room Church were still in full force in the car. BUT, it gave us an opportunity to APPLY Pastor Adam’s instructions to “reframe” and practice patience.

Kahoot with Karen. Yes, there were two of her. She didn’t know why.

We also played Kahoot across the ocean, playing with my sister, Karen, in Israel. We finally figured out the technology so that she could see us and the computer screen. Good times!

The day ended with our first campfire of the season. Oh! It was glorious. And Tyler, who’s been such a trooper throughout this, came over to hang out around the campfire. And do gymnastics in the backyard. And carry heavy things for me.

I LOVE spring!
