Dear Diary

Donations awaiting a home.

The family that cleans together…well, they clean together. We spent the day continuing to tackle the utility room, and some of Tom’s office. We’ve been able to give away a lot and sell a little bit and throw away a ton (!) but sadly we can’t donate anything. We have a shelf and our entire work bench surface filled with things to donate to various charities. It would be so nice to be able to get rid of those things but I guess we’ll just have to wait. Coming soon: Tom will be listing the books he has to share. This will be by donation. Stay tuned!

Working together teaches us a lot about ourselves and about each other. It teaches us to have grace with one another. It’s not easy but hopefully we are becoming better people through it. I guess that describes a lot of life, if we let it.
