Social Distancing Diaries: Day 43
/Dear Diary
Mulching Mania in action!
OMG it didn’t rain today!! The fog lifted just in time for Ellen and I to take a walk. We were so stylish we took a selfie. Standards continue to suffer.
I was a Lawn Maintenance Warrior today! Edging, mulching, weeding. And there’s still So. Much. To. Do. Lily earned the Favorite Child Award by coming out to help. Of course, I promised to pay her, but I choose to believe she did it out of the kindness of her heart. While she was outside she had a quick lesson in how to mow the lawn. I have high hopes there.
My mom picked up a few things for us at the grocery store today, including a brisket for herself! My dad smoked it AND make real French fries, fried in oil. They invited us over for a socially distant supper on the patio. Mmmmm.

Eden was occupied for several hours today by the virtual youth retreat. I’ll ask her if she’ll share her thoughts when it’s all over. Hayley and Ellen were occupied all day by college-y stuff—writing papers and such not. Only a few more weeks until they’re MINE. ALL MINE! Mwahahahaha! (Hayley wants everyone to know she had a good hair day.)
